E.SUN FHC collaborated with Mackay Memorial Hospital again in offering overseas medical assistance. E.SUN also involved NGO Taiwan Oral Care Association (TOCA) and the Chinese-Myanmar Bilateral Economic & Cultural Association (CMBCA) in organizing the "Caring for Myanmar - Joint Overseas Medical Service" program this time. Comprehensive medical examinations are provided to villagers in rural areas of Myanmar by a group of doctors from Mackay Memorial Hospital and TOCA and a team of translators composed of E.SUN employees from the E.SUN Bank Myanmar Branch. Health care services were provided in the areas of dentistry, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency service. Medical services were provided to 2,091 patients and health education to 1,374 local residents over a span of 4 days, alleviating the predicament of medical resource shortage in rural areas and helping families learn about oral health.

E.SUN FHC and Mackay Memorial Hospital started collaborating in offering overseas medical assistance in 2015. The service was offered two years in a row in Siem Reap Province and then in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. The destination this year was Maubin, a remote town more than 100km from Yangon, Myanmar. Medical assistance was provided by Mackay Memorial Hospital and TOCA, while CMBCA handled planning and communication with the locals and employees of the E.SUN Bank Myanmar Branch acted as translators. Committed to the cause, everyone brought their knowledge and skills and came together to make a difference and improve the health of residents of remote villages.

Throughout the 4-day program from December 5 to December 8, the group of doctors and volunteers turned classrooms in a local elementary school into examination rooms and student desks into beds. Doctors had to bend to examine patients due to the height of the chairs. The heat and humidity was also a severe test on the body and the mind. A number of Myanmarese doctors and local employees of the E.SUN Bank Myanmar Branch participated in the program. They commented that "being Myanmarese, it means a lot to us to be able to use our skills to give back to our community." School teachers who heard the news of the medical team coming to the school made good use of this opportunity by temporarily setting aside school work and joining the team in improving health care for local children.

A quarter of a century later, E.SUN celebrates its 25th anniversary. In addition to local development and becoming a reliable business partner, E.SUN is also devoted to Asia expansion, establishing 25 branch offices across nine countries, including Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, the United States, Australia, China, and Hong Kong, in order to build a highly efficient, integrated Asian financial platform. To develop Asian markets and fulfill CSR, E.SUN will continue to engage in volunteering activities such as overseas medical services and habitat for humanity by training international volunteers, encouraging local participation, and leveraging the resources of non-profit organizations. We envision transferring our love and care to create more happiness for people in need.
